Let me tell you something about Nevis – it’s magical. No really, I swear, it’s magical. This tiny little island filled with the happiest of people, the prettiest beaches, palm trees, wildlife, volcano, hot springs, blue skies, the perfect weather, etc. From landing to getting a grand welcome at the airport YU lounge (the perfect place to relax while our return flight was delayed) to the ferry ride over from St. Kitts, to arriving to this perfect island and walking straight onto the Four Seasons property. Took my breath away. And from that moment, I knew I never wanted to leave. We spent the next few days touring the resort property, including all the privately owned villas you can rent out (oh, trust me, I’ll be back with friends and family), feeding the monkeys, climbing the active volcano (straight up, in mud…yes we got dirty), doing various water sports including fly-boarding and jet-skiing (because, when in Nevis…), eating freshly caught lobster and other delicious seafood, and of course, also relaxing. Honestly, it was perfect. The Four Seasons knew exactly how to spoil us, how to keep us entertained but equally relaxed, and to make the whole experience intimate. I would go back within a heartbeat. And if you guys have the chance, this is one trip you won’t want to miss out on, trust me.
